Review: Bear Country: Boone By: Christa Kelley

Okay, so I tried. This book was free on Amazon and I always jump to free books because sometimes, you find gold. This was not what I expected at all. Maybe before jumping to free books, I should read the summary.

I tried. I tried really, really hard to love this book. I wish I had known that I picked up a paranormal romance where a man can turn into a Bear. I am not criticizing anyone's interests or point of view but I find reads like this...silly. I can not connect with the book simply because it is so fictional and bizarre. Paranormal romance is just not for me. Aside from it being a paranormal romance book, it was a short read and I did not connect with the characters. So, that alone made it really hard for me to continue reading.It took me much longer to read this short book than it should have. It was well written, however, just not my cup of tea.
